ABOUT

Bree Koenen is a registered physiotherapist and the current Captain of the Brisbane Lions AFLW team. She combines elite professional sport at the highest level of women’s Australian football with active clinical practice — bringing rare lived-experience credibility to athletic women’s health and the wider sports physiotherapy team at CJCP+R.

Bree’s connection to the Clem Jones Centre runs deep. She received the Clem Jones Sporting Scholarship at The University of Queensland from 2014–2016, and returned as a physiotherapist to Clem Jones Centre Physio + Rehab in 2019 — exemplifying the practice’s pattern of growing clinicians from within the broader Clem Jones community.
